Karen Kanaan: the team’s glue
Karen was the last person I interviewed, I was positively surprised by the impact she had on her colleagues; (when asked if they were happy with their current job) they all mentioned the influence Karen had in the office.

She’s Sodeco-Gestion’s Marketing manager; sales department director as well as your sweet and efficient agent, Karen multi-tasks in a friendly/stress-free environment she mostly created in our offices, she regards highly the value found in teamwork and insists on keeping a healthy atmosphere at all times.
A mother of two, she saw real estate 10 years ago as a new challenge in her career path: “building a routine is out of question in this field, it’s never the same people, always different needs and expectations “it’s never boring, you always have to surpass yourself to meet the high expectations of our clients, that’s what drives most of us to give out our best thus setting the standards higher and higher.
When she joined the sales teams, Karen described the strong correlation between the sales department and that of the marketing: understanding the client’s need, the value of the property, as well as the way to a potential costumer’s needs…key! She says this experience is necessary for an aspiring marketer in today’s competitive market.
